Charter a ship for bagged or bulk cargo
Bagged rice, sugar and cement; bulk grain, minerals and coal. Bagged cargo loads at a few thousand tonnes a day, needs ship’s gear, and discharges into ports where a wrong laytime assumption costs the margin on the sale. This desk is built for that parcel, and fixes bulk on the same terms.
What you get
- A freight quote and a port-cost estimate built from agents’ invoices for the discharge port, before you sign the sale contract.
- A handysize-to-panamax ship sourced from owners, geared where the cargo or port needs it, contracted in Eximwala’s own name.
- Stowage plan, dunnage and fumigation arranged; a supercargo on the quay for tally and draft survey.
- Daily vessel position until discharge is complete.

What we need from you
- Cargo, and bag size if bagged (25 kg, 50 kg or jumbo)
- Quantity in tonnes and tolerance
- Load port and laycan
- Discharge port and any receiver requirements
- Sale basis (CIF, CFR or FOB with freight arranged)
Completed voyages are in the fixture record. Owners with open tonnage should use the ship door.
